I completed my PhD in plasma physics at Aalto University in Finland in April 2014. After the Graduation, I started as a Post-Doc at Chalmers University in Sweden. There I worked for a year and a half studying runaway-electron dynamics.
My research interests lie mainly in plasma kinetic theory, especially in the collisional processes. Also mathematical methods, such as the Lie-perturbation theory, often tend to slip into my consciousness. From the numerical perspective, I'm interested in stochastic differential equations, finite element methods, particle-in-cell approach, and in how these could be used to solve problems specific in plasma physics.
