Zhenyu Wang is an associate research physicist in Theory Department of Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. Before joining the theory department, he was a postdoctoral research associate in Department of Astrophysical Sciences of Princeton University.
In his PhD thesis research, he worked with his advisors to develop Gyrokinetic/Fully kinetic particle-in-cell codes. He applied these particle simulation codes to study astrophysical plasma problems. At PPPL theory, he is working in the XGC group. His research interests include particle-in-cell algorithm and code development.
